I'm 19 years old. I picked up a guitar when I was 11 and taught myself how to play. Every day since then I've been mastering my favorite band's songs. It started with The Beatles and then I branched out to Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Van Halen, Iron Maiden, Pantera, and Metallica. About 2 years ago I began experimenting more and writing my own songs. These songs are all influenced by my favorite bands and incorporate aspects of all of them. I will teach my students how to become where I am today. I think everybody should learn how to play the guitar so they can learn to express themselves through song. I enjoy spreading the love for guitar and am very enthusiastic about teaching people! * Formal Education: I graduated high school in 2011. I am currently attending community college. Performing Experience: I've been playing improvised local shows semi-frequently for the last 2 years. Experience Teaching: I have been teaching some people around my age from basic guitar scales to increasingly complex songs of many genres for about 5 years.
