The Mardi Gras School of Cooking does small, intimate hands-on classes in the French Quarter. Classes are more like a dinner party with friends. Feel welcomed into our kitchens by the Chefs themselves. From the moment you arrive until you roll out the door our Chefs are friendly, personable and entertaining. Not to mention their culinary skills are impecable. Our minimum class size is 2 people. A solo traveler may join an already scheduled class. Call us to hear about the available classes.

Hear about the secrets lurking in numerous alleys named after past sinners and saints. Enjoy the gorgeous architecture of the St. Louis Cathedral at Jackson Square, and inhale the abundant scents of Creole cooking that waft in the air. Guests will be allowed to stop in bars along the tour route to grab a to go drink (adult beverages or soft drinks) and use the restrooms. Then the tour group will head out to the next location.
