She became a local singer, competing in talent shows, acting and singing in off broadway plays. She started writing songs in the third grade and recording demos at the tender age of 10. She would go on to record her first original song, titled "Dying Inside" at 11 years old, where her vocal coach and mentor Troy Randall helped with vocal arragnemets and completing the song. She shopped at demo and had meetings with Clyde Davis, Barry White and Babyface. She performed at the Apollo theatre in Harlem, NYC at age 16. That summer she attened Berklee College of Music's summer program in Boston, Massachusetts where she was influenced by many singers and musicians which made her realize that she wanted to attend Berklee College of Music in the next few year and she started to prepare herself for this. She would go on to Berklee to stduy Music Education, only attending for 2 years. She left Berklee to focus on her singing career back in the NYC area. She recorded several albums, auditioned background dancers and started performing around New York City and North Jersey. Rosalind has also modeled for several magazines and has worked with a lots of photographers. Eventually Rosalind would go on to work with celebrities and shoot music videos for her singles. Rosalind them started to gig with a few wedding bands, and at bars and restaurants, while also being the CEO of her own skincare line Risen Skincare. She has recently moved to the South Florida/Miami area where she has started giving children vocal lessons and mentoring child as well, still pushing her own music career and skincare company.
