The rich wildlife diversity of Wild Horse Island makes it an excellent spot for observing and photographing nature. Among its inhabitants are bighorn sheep, mule deer, bald eagles, osprey, and of course -a small herd of wild horses. We provide a comfy kayak for every guest and all the gear to keep everyone safe while paddling. We also provide maps and all the information necessary for you to safely explore for 2 1/2 hours on Wild Horse Island. Your knowledgeable guide will paddle with you from our "put in" spot to/from Wild Horse Island.

Nature lovers will enjoy sighting mature and immature Bald Eagles along with Osprey and other native birds that inhabit the islands. On a warm day, for extra fun, we might just stop for a quick swim in the sand flats or jump off the island!
