I have been a student of music for 15 years and have loved every moment! My musical influences include everything from country to classical. My teaching style can best be described as relaxed, fun, and productive. We have a great time and get lots of fun stuff accomplished. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that I am here to support fellow students of music with a sense of patience and consistency. Together we can accomplish anything. In my lessons, you can expect to learn guitar chords, musical scales, how to sing with your guitar, and even play harmonica with your guitar. I like to tell my students you can do anything you desire, if you have the right attitude and inspirational teachers. My favorite thing about teaching is seeing the first full song played and the thirst for more proficiency. My favorite performance was Willie Nelson and his whole family playing together in Austin with my entire family watching it with me. My students love that I don't stress them out and help them to succeed in their dreams. I primarily teach guitar, but I can also teach harmonica and voice lessons. My name is David, and I am from Albuquerque, New Mexico. I recently moved to Copperas Cove in February 2022! I LOVE guitar and have played it going on for eight years. Furthermore, I play bass and drums. I recently within the past four years began to sing! Before moving to Texas, I played in and recorded for a country band called "The Lucky Mays Band." I played guitar and sang backup vocals for the band for two years, and it was a blast! I have been writing music for about four years, though I have not published anything yet that will change soon. As for teaching experience, I was a volunteer firefighter from 2019 to 2021. I taught all the recruits the basics of firefighting, emergency medical protocol, and cooking!
