What your child’s day will look like
Focusing on composition, color theory, and values, this class allows students to experiment with various medium techniques, including clay, watercolor, mixed media, acrylic, and tempera. 90 minutes. Ages 7-9. THIS WEEK: We’re experimenting with applications this week as we recreate Monet’s famous water lilies. Students will layer a mixture of watercolor and soap bubbles onto the page by blowing bubbles to create a textured background. Then they will draw and cut floating lily pads to bring their bubble water to life.
