Focusing on composition, color theory, and values, this class allows students to experiment with various medium techniques, including clay, watercolor, mixed media, acrylic, and tempera. 60 minutes. Ages 4-6. THIS WEEK: What better way to celebrate Cinco de Mayo than learning all about Mexican folk art? This week we are diving into color as we explore the rich history embedded into the symbolism of artesanía art. Students will learn about symmetry as they implement detailed patterns of their own design. Filling the page in bold color to mimic the vibrant aesthetic of this renowned art style.
