Alice is so excited to offer Summer classes at The Yellow Canary! Music with Alice, a 40-45 minute family music class, is for 0-5 year olds along with their parents, grandparents and caregivers to come together every week to sing songs together! Siblings under 1 are FREE! These classes are highly engaging to all ages, as Alice teaches everyone festive finger play activities, hand movements, lap songs that double as sleigh rides, call and response singing of classic and new holiday songs and we end each class with a lullaby to calm the children for the next part of their day. These classes have a flow that allows quiet soothing and also lots of movement and big fun! Each class is full of simple and enjoyable music from the folk tradition, classics you know and love, and originals written by Alice! These songs are specifically crafted with a wide range of ages in mind (even the adults will love it!) Alice's classes encourage bonding and create one-of-a-kind memories that will last forever afterwards. Every person deserves a chance to make music and these classes are a safe and fun space to do just that!

Alice Hardin
Instructor
Alice Hardin, (also known as Alice Calvery on stage), is an independent singer songwriter with over 25 years experience playing and singing, 15 years of early childhood care and education and 3 years teaching early childhood music! She currently lives in Jackson, TN with her husband and 2 daughters. Her style is heavily influenced by folk, gospel, bluegrass and classic country traditions. She was featured on Paste Music’s Daytrotter sessions and has released two studio EPs, one with Grammy winning artist Ben Tanner of the Alabama Shakes. Alice loves to sing and make music with her family, and has a passion and gift to work with children of all backgrounds and needs and demeanors. They are our greatest teachers!

Cancellation and Refund Policy: Class refunds are available within 48 hours of purchasing. Alice reserves the right to cancel a class due to low enrollment. We understand that plans can change and things come up! Should a client need to cancel or change their reservation, please notify us at least one week prior to the class date and they will receive a credit for another class to be used within 6 months or be transferred to their class choice. Should Alice need to cancel a class because of emergency or sickness, she will reschedule. If you are unable to attend the rescheduled class, you will recieve credit for the class(es) and can use that with Alice within the following 6 months.
