In this mixed media art project, students will craft a whimsical scene featuring a frog and cricket using markers and tissue paper. They'll use collage techniques to layer tissue paper, creating texture and depth, while markers will add vibrant details. This project not only sparks creativity and imagination but also enhances fine motor skills and understanding of color theory. By blending and layering diverse materials, students will enhance their artistic skills and express individual creativity in a fun and engaging way. Perfect class for children ages 7-9 years old. 90-min class Children will be exposed to a variety of mediums and work on building up new skills.
