What your child’s day will look like
In middle school? Love kids? Join our Coach in Training Program for middle schoolers age 12+ looking to develop their leadership skills and have fun with friends! This CIT camp runs parallel to our regular day camp. The CITs will get opportunities to coach and play with the campers in that program. What will they do? CITs get to help set up and plan the camp day and assist with running the games and activities for the campers. They will learn leadership skills, basics of child development, public speaking skills, and much more. Their confidence will grow as they are given opportunities to shine with the younger campers. Each week will also consist of several "CIT only" activities, games, and rewards. CITs will work hard and play hard! Each CIT is assigned to a skilled mentor coach that will help support and encourage them as they learn to interact and play with younger campers. This duo sticks together and works as a team to make Playformance camp great. Open to responsible and enthusiastic people ages 12-15. CITs must be able to be on time.

Notes: Please note time change for CIT Camp is 8-3pm to allow for time to help set up, plan, and clean up. Regular camp hours are 8:30-2:30. All CIT registrations must be approved by the coaching staff prior to camp start date. Middle school aged kids are always welcome as campers instead! Being in a CIT position is not for every child. Our goal is to have happy, active kids having fun! If your child is not enjoying themselves or meeting the expectations of the position, they may be asked to join as a camper instead of a CIT. CITs must bring 2-3 snacks, healthy lunch, and water bottle. If first time as a CIT please complete this form: https://www.playformancetucson.com/coach-in-training CANCELLATION POLICY: Camps cancelled with at least 7 days before start of reservation can receive a full credit or refund for camp. If a customer cancels camp reservation with 7 days or less before reservation start, customer MAY receive credit based on circumstances. If reservation is cancelled within 24 hours of the start of camp, no credit or refund will be given. Exceptions may be made on a case by case basis.
