Hey, I’m Sophia, and I hope I get to meet your family. I also enjoy Academics, Active Games (Tag, Dodgeball, etc.), Art, Board Games / Card Games, Books, Sports, Technology. I am proud of my ability to be empathetic and understanding of individuals differences. My favorite genre of movie is a tie between Sci-Fi and Documentaries. I have been a Physics tutor for three years, and love to teach about Science. I was also a Nanny for 1 year, and Babysitter for 9 years. I love working with kids because they are full of energy and enthusiasm about life. They are very curious and inquisitive and I enjoy being able to nurture childhood curiosity and learning. I have an Adult and Pediatric First Aid and CPR certification, and you can see my other certifications and work preferences in the tags below--please make sure I’m a good fit for your family before booking! I work both full-day (8-hour) and half-day (4-hour) shifts in the mornings and afternoons. My schedule will show that I work from 1-5pm by default, but you can request your preferred time slot when you register. And if you’re looking for full-day care, be sure to add “Precare: Upgrade to Full Day” to your purchase. If you’re reserving multiple days, make sure you add that option for every day that you would like full-day care. Although you can only reserve dates about a month out, if things are working out well you’ll get the option to extend my time with your family. Kirsten is a wonderful person, taking good care of our son this week - after his eyes surgery which was for us really important. She was able to engage our son for literally all the time, starting from early morning, until 5PM - in various and multiple activities - seriously I was really impressed. This is not the first time Tomek is staying with someone, but since I work from home, I naturally see can observe his interactions. I must say Kirsten was by far the best, really engaged, awesome contact like a best friend, also as an artist - she drew pictures that Tomek could colour. Always on time (actually, even a bit earlier), professional, fun, educating Tomek as well. As I said, Tomek was anxious after his surgery, and we are so lucky it was Kirsten who was giving care to Tomek - I was very happy to see him laughing, talking all the time, getting into educating activities. Thank you so much!

Please note that our full-day price of $320 covers up to 8 hours of care, and our half-day price of $200 covers up to 4 hours of care. Each option is good for up to 5 children. Lunch and snacks are not included, but our Counselors are set up with access to Door Dash and can order food for your kids upon request, and we’ll charge your payment method on file for our cost. If you need to cancel or reschedule this reservation for any reason, please reach out to the Director of your region as soon as possible. If you’re able to cancel before 4:00pm the business day prior to a reservation you will receive a full refund for that day. Any cancellation after 4:00pm the weeknight before will result in a small fee in order to compensate staff for lost bookings.
