Hand Sewing Basics For kids and adults In our Hand Sewing Basics Class you will learn: • How to choose the right needle • How to thread the needle and make a knot • Using a thimble • Running Stitch • Back Stitch • Catch Stitch • Blanket Stitch • How to make a finishing knot • Sewing on Buttons You will need: A sharp needle, cotton or poly thread, small scissors, 2 and 4 hole buttons, AND a solid woven piece of fabric 16" x 8" x 8" This class is taught via Zoom by Julie Ann, the creator of our Hand Sewing Series on Instagram. The meeting and password will be emailed to you upon sign up. Additionally, students will be emailed reference handouts covering all the demonstrations after class.
