We accept ages 2yr - 10yrs. We live in a time where the integration of technology, AI, and robots are on the rise and can often perform work more efficiently and at a cost savings. EICK staff focus on the development of one of the greatest assets for humans: their mind and being able to think. EICK is designed to create innovative thinkers by exposing students to the engineering design thinking process and innovative, hands-on learning experiences while also meeting the state early learning standards. Students learn to collaborate, to be entrepreneurs, innovate, and be creative along with learning that they can learn from failure and trying again is part of the design process. The school is not about screentime and limits the use of screentime. We also bring in extra enrichments for students throughout the year. such as the museum on wheels, the aquarium, the conservatory, and more. EICK is a Monroe City Schools bus stop so before/after school-age students have school-provided transportation if they attend Monroe or Mother Theresa schools. All students participate in STEM projects instructed by our in-house STEM instructor. EICK also offers home schooled/remote learner STEAM Enrichments Monday through Thursday mornings. Our Private Kindergarten is a ratio of 1 teacher to 10 students. Additionally, we utilize Ohio approved curriculum at all grade levels including a focus on teaching phonics and foundational skills for reading at all levels.
