I've worked as a veterinary technician for 4 years at 2 different clinics in our area. Prior to working in veterinary medicine, I raised sheep, chickens, ducks, geese, and turkeys on a small homestead, which of course included dogs and cats! I love animals and have a patient and positive way of interacting with them. I am certified "fear-free" when it comes to working with cats and I have experience with dog training having gone through obedience school with my Anatolian Shepherd. Hi! My name is Courtney ! I've grown up with animals my whole life. Dogs, Cats, Fish, Guinea Pigs, Mice, Horses... you name it! I love animals with my whole heart and love being able to give them all the love when they're owners are away! I know that I don't enjoy the idea of having to leave my pets behind when going on vacation and I would certainly prefer them to be in the comfort of their own home, playing with someone instead of in a cold boarding kennel. I am open to many situations! I've dropped in on pets just to feed and play with them but I've also stayed in the owners home to keep the dogs company all throughout the night - while also watching the house and watering the plants for the week! My husband and I and now our children have had the dogs for the last 25 years, so I have had much experience taking care of dogs, we have also added 2 birds into our family. I have had experience taking care of many breeds of dogs as well as administering medicine and shots. Currently I am a stay-at-home mom, due to my daughter's schedules, I have decided to continue to stay home so I am able to be involved with their after school activities.
