As far back as I can remember I have always had a passion for children. As a child I would sit in the nursery at church on Sundays as a helper. I started babysitting 30 years ago after taking a certified babysitting course. In high school I took Early Childhood Development classes. My passion for children continues as an adult and mother. I am currently CPR and First Aid certified. I am cloth diaper friendly.
I have a 12 year old son, 9 year old daughter, 7 year old daughter, and 4 year old son. After our first son was born my husband and I made the decision for me to offer in-home child care so I could stay at home. I have been providing care in my home since 2010.
In 2018 I took a break from offering childcare to focus on my family. Now my youngest is starting school and I'm ready to open back up for enrollment. Every family I have worked with has become a part of my family. I would like to find a family looking for something long term. References available upon request.
My home is clean, safe, healthy, loving, family oriented, and of course fun. I am a child at heart and love to color and play games. We go to the park daily, weather permitting. I believe children should be able to have fun and be creative while learning. Learning through play is something we practice every day. Daily activities range from coloring, creating with play doh, various arts and crafts, and of course, story time.
I love to cook and offer healthy meals & snacks. Fresh fruit is always on the menu.
