Hi! my name is Samantha I am a 23-year-old college student that just graduated from Doane University in Crete, NE with a Bachelors degree in Physical Education. I am now home and am looking for a job for the summer or longer depending on the position. My ultimate goal is to become an Elementary Physical Education teacher in the near future. I have experience with children of all ages (infants and older). Prior to graduation, I worked at a daycare/ preschool in Wilber, NE. During my time here I also worked in the mornings for two families that found me on Care. com. I am a very outgoing, personable person and enjoy (sports, crafts, family, ext.). I do have my own car that I am able to use for transportation if necessary. I can accommodate any schedule and am willing to do a phone or in-person interview with parents if preferred. I Please contact me if interested! Thanks!

Sam worked full-time for us while our daughter was 6 mo. to 14 mo. This was our 1st child and our 1st childcare. We couldn't have been happier! Sam is: Knowledgeable - she drew from her prior experience to help us understand upcoming milestones Mature/honest - able to follow our overall parenting philosophy and at the same time make helpful suggestions in a respectful manner Takes initiative - asked us for a list of responsibilities and would try to teach our daughter new age appropriate things without us prompting. Planned daily outings. Detail oriented - kept a log of daily activities and concisely updated us Sam got an opportunity for a long-term substitute teaching position. The timing worked out perfectly to transition to daycare. She was upfront with us from the beginning that teaching was something she was interested in. Sam is still an integral part of the family and she was more anxious about our daughter's transition to daycare than we were :)
