W. is a very active and fun toddler. We are looking for someone with a fun/upbeat/talkative evergy to care for her. You'll need a lot of energy to keep up with this girl! As much as she likes to play outside and be active, she also loves to sit and listen to someone who will read her some books. We are really looking for someone who will feel comfortable engaging with her and who is able to incorporate imaginative play throughout the day. We are working on getting her to talk more as she nears the age of 2 so if you have experience with that, even better! Basically we aren't just looking for a baby sitter, but someone who will care for, look after, and teach our daughter as if she were your own. She is very schedule oriented and I will be able to provide that schedule for you. We also have a small dog (Chiweenie) who will need to be let out back periodically throughout the day. His dad will pick him up and bring him home around 5 p.m. before leaving for work around 5:30-6 p.m. Most of the evening would be spent keeping him occupied, preparing meals and snacks, and some light tidying as you go. He is super energetic and loves to play outside, working on puzzles and creating art. My second son, C, is 8 weeks old and will be home with me throughout the day. I anticipate keeping him with me while I work but this may change depending on how the first few days go. Please let me know if you feel as if you'd be a good fit for this position.
