Lexington Kids Christian Childcare offers responsive, individualized, and high-quality Christian childcare to children and families in St. Paul. Through teacher-led and child-initiated activities and experiences, we seek to foster a strong love of learning and to help each child, family, and staff member celebrate every person as a child of God.
Lexington Kids offers developmentally appropriate programs and enrichment for children ages 6 weeks through 12 years. We align program activities and plans with MN early childhood and birth through three indicators of progress to ensure that we are able to meet the developmental benchmarks to prepare children for kindergarten.
We are a privately owned child care center located in between the Hamline-Midway, Como and Frogtown neighborhoods in Saint Paul. We have been operating for over 10 years at this site and have no other locations. We pride ourselves on offering center benefits (long hours, few closure dates and highly qualified teachers) while still maintaining a family feel.
We provide care Monday through Friday, from 6:30 am to 6:00 pm. We are closed annually on the following days to celebrate holidays or to provide professional development opportunities for staff: New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Day, President's Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day and the Friday before, Independence Day, Labor Day and the Friday before, Thanksgiving Day and the Friday following, Christmas Eve and Day. In the event of a holiday falling on a Saturday or Sunday, we will be closed the Friday proceeding or Monday following the day.
