I am a certified Montessori Teacher, and I hold a Certificate in Early Childhood Education along with a BA in Early Childhood Education. I am certified in First Aid, CPR and also certified in the Immunization Assistance Program.
I have been in the educational field for over 15 years.7 years as a teacher - working in infant & toddler rooms as well as teaching 2 to 5 year olds. I also have 8 years of experience as a Preschool Director.
I am a State Licensed Home Childcare provider, and comply with all of the State requirements. I am dedicated & committed & have a passion for teaching children.
I have started my own home preschool to focus on a small group of children to enrich their lives by offering a unique education program that would be concentrated & focused to suit each child's individual abilities, whilst providing a fun environment.
The curriculum I offer includes Fine Motor Skills, Math, Language, Circle time , Arts & crafts, Music & Movement & Story time. The curriculum also includes components of the Montessori Method of Learning.
My ultimate goal is to see that at the end of the program, each child is academically & socially ready & has all the tools to make a smooth transition from preschool to Elementary School.
