What is a normal salary for a nanny?

I am new to hiring a nanny. I have 5 month old twin boys. We have decided that a nanny in our home would be better then taking them pout everyday. My husband is concerned about the cost of childcare. What is a normal range to pay a nanny?

We have a person we take our son to each day - he's 9 months old. She has 4 kiddos at her house. We are paying $900/ month, which is on the low end of normal here!
