The Director of Global Safety Operations will report to the Head of Safety and have primary responsibility for the implementation of Care.com’s Safety Program, which includes member screening procedures and responding to safety-related escalations. The candidate will lead and manage a team of both internal and external resources supporting Care.com’s global business. The Director of Global Safety Operations must have online/internet safety experience, preferably marketplace experience.

The LifeCare Specialist is responsible for conducting needs assessments and research for community resources related to a clients’ presenting situation or identified need. In this role, the Specialist must use their educational background and institutional knowledge to interpret and assess client requests. They must demonstrate and utilize problem solving skills, effective communication techniques and strong interpersonal skills. In addition to client interactions, a Specialist is directly responsible for locating and contacting community resources and assistance to help meet his/her clients’ needs. Independent judgment and discretion is expected when locating the most appropriate resources and assistance for clients. Client interactions are via telephone, web, chat, and email.
Manage the Global Consumer Operations Analytics team to support and analyze all of the Consumer Operations team reporting, including KPIs, data requests, scorecards, etc.
The Safety Program Manager is responsible for maintaining a comprehensive pulse on program trends and opportunities and using data insights to advise safety policy and process development for the Care.com Safety Program across business lines and geographies. This position will work with a cross-functional team passionate about the safety of the Care.com platform and its members. Responsibilities will include drafting policies and procedures, analyzing data to advise the progression of the Safety Program, and surfacing data insights to ensure the maximum efficiency of internal and external safety tooling. The ideal candidate will have experience working in trust and safety programs for on-demand and other online marketplace services that connect individuals in the physical space, as well as experience analyzing large data sets to advise programmatic and policy decisions.
