Become part of the Accounting/Finance team as the Assistant Controller in a position with significant growth opportunities, exposure to senior management, and strong upside. This position will report into the Corporate Controller and consistently work directly with the CFO. We are seeking an experienced Assistant Controller to support the complexities of a growing global company. As the Assistant Controller, you will be responsible for managing all facets of the domestic accounting group, including i) the monthly/quarterly/annual financial close; (ii) accounts payable; (iii) revenue recognition, and (iv) payroll. You will also be involved in financial reporting to our parent company (IAC) on a monthly and quarterly basis.
The Director of Global Safety Operations will report to the Sr. Director of Operations and have primary responsibility for the implementation of Care.com’s Safety Program, which includes member review/vetting procedures, responding to safety-related escalations, rolling out a safety investigation function, and establishing a safety hotline.
