Plymouth family needs a part-time tutor for English. Any day after school, 3:30/4:00, would work. My 7th grade son is in need of an ela/strategic reading tutor.

Plymouth family needs a part-time remote learning support for general subjects - English, Math, Science. My daughters, H and E, will be remote on Mon, Wed, and Friday. I currently work from home in my office. Although I will be able to support them on Fridays and partial Mondays, I would love for someone to support their learning on Wednesdays and the other part of Mondays. Ideally, I'd be looking for someone who has experience in teaching, childcare, non-smoker, own transportation, creative, charismatic. My daughters will be in 4th and 2nd grade. They are good students. Well-behaved. Polite. Eager to learn. Will need is general support with assignments, logins, launching videos, guiding them and challenging them to learn, etc. The job would be in my home for those hours. Clean, large home, no pets, no COVID exposure.

Here at LearnWell, we've dedicated ourselves to making a life-changing impact on the 10 million students currently in the U. S. who live with some type of behavioral health need (depression, anxiety, suicidal ideation, eating disorder, substance use). For nearly 25 years, we have provided on-site instructional services within the hospital setting, helping students to continue their academic progress during treatment and successfully reenter the classroom. We also are able to provide 1:1 virtual academic tutoring assistance to students who are homebound and out of school for an extended period of time. LearnWell is looking to add to our talented group of teachers and bring on several more part time certified teachers to assist with our growing need for virtual instruction. These certified teachers will provide 1:1 academic instruction virtually with students. The teacher's main responsibility is to act as an aide for the student, guiding them through educational material and ensuring their academic success. Our teachers will be responsible to independently operate their classes within our virtual platform, Blue Jeans. Teachers will be able to receive curriculum prior to the scheduled sessions, so there is plenty of time to prep and get prepared with the given material. Students are between 1st-12th grade and we will provide tutoring in the four core subjects (Math, English, science, and history). Requirements: -Teaching Certification required -Understanding and comfort assisting with the four core subjects (Math, English, science and history) -Must have proven success reporting to work on a regular and punctual basis -Proficiency utilizing and navigating technology and Microsoft Office tools, will need to set up and troubleshoot Blue Jeans and Zoom platforms This is a 100% remote position that will require an individual to have reliable internet connection within their home/work space. This is a part time hourly position, up to 20 hours a week, Monday- Friday. Ideally teachers will have consistent availability sometime between 9:30-4:30 p.m. Most available hours are within the time block of 10-3 p.m. Position is hourly and pays $20/hr. You will be compensated for both the session and set administrative time each day. Position has great growth opportunities to become full time if desired.
