I am interested in meeting other working parents who may be interested in an exchange where we could do a two day/week kid swap allowing us both to work part time (or if you just need a break) without paying high child are fees. I have a 2.5 and almost 4 yr old and the preschools in our dublin/powell area are estimating around $1000/month for their two full day programs. This just seems crazy to me since their ratios are about 1:12 teacher to students. We could come up with a joint curriculum just like at preschool and can arrange healthy meal plans (most of the preschools we have looked at spouted pizza and chicken nuggets as their weekly staples and that does not appeal to us). We can even set up worksheets to track the progress at each of our houses. That way, we both feel our kids are learning at each others house. I am open to watching up to 3 other children besides mine (I feel like 5 is the top of what I could handle for a full day).
