A professional and creative family in the North Seattle/Greenwood area is searching for their next long-term nanny! Both parents work full-time (home offices) and are looking for someone to care for their adorable 2-year old son full-time. Their son LOVES being outside and exploring! He's happiest on walks, running in parks, kicking soccer balls or dancing and singing at the top of his lungs! His current obsessions are Taylor Swift and Miley Cyrus and always has a song request or two to be played at any given time. He is easy going, sweet and loving. Mom is a professional chef and now creates content online that revolves around food. You will find her working in her office or in the kitchen creating recipes or filming! Dad manages an engineering team so is mostly in meetings throughout the day while in his home office. Both parents enjoy being active and traveling as a family frequently. The parents are hoping to find someone that will stay long-term as they plan to add to their family in the coming years. Their parenting philosophy is one that balances structure and warmth. They are laid back and respect their nanny as a true partner - respecting boundaries and providing support when needed. THE DETAILS Location: Greenwood Area, 98103 Start Date: ASAP but will wait for the right candidate! Child: Two year old boy Schedule & Hours: Monday - Friday from 8am to 4pm (some flexibility also!) Work from home: Both parents work at home - both have offices and encourage the nanny to get out and about with the child! Compensation: $33-$35 per hour Benefits: PTO + Sick Days + Paid Holidays/Observed Holidays, Guaranteed Hours (family travels often throughout the year) Duration: Long-term, one-year commitment or longer desired Pets: Very happy mid-sized lab mix, well-trained and LOVES people. He will want to be your best friend and will always think you are there for him! Driving: Nanny must have a valid driver's license, auto insurance, and a responsible driving record. The family has a car for the nanny to use during work for adventures, etc. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Provide nurturing and supportive care and of course, fun! Follow the schedule as provided by parents Communicate effectively and often with parents Meal prep (child only) Light driving in provided car to events, classes, etc. Light Tidying (basic cleaning up pertaining to child only) Children's laundry if time allows!
