About the job

We are a Dallas family of five and we are looking for an extra set of hands to step in and help with our always-on-the-go trio. While it's uncommon for you to handle all three kiddos simultaneously, we ask that you be able to manage them solo on the rare occasions when it does happen. We thrive on teamwork, collaborating seamlessly to conquer our daily tasks! Experience with toddlers is a must for us right now, as we navigate this exciting journey. We're on the lookout for a Nanny who exudes confidence and comfort in their role. Most importantly, we're seeking a true team player who embraces the spirit of togetherness, where we all chip in and lend a helping hand. Our youngest is our only boy and he's the happiest, easiest 14-month-old you'll meet! He's so laid back! He's happiest trying to keep up with his sisters and is a wonderful and sometimes silly little guy. We want someone focused on age-appropriate play for him, taking time to read to him, and working on gestures and verbal communication. He will start OT later this spring and our Nanny must feel confident taking him to his appointments and getting feedback from the therapist and providing that back to us. The girls are all but twins, separated by only four months in age, both are 3 years old. Our younger daughter is funny, friendly, and confident. It's safe to say you always know where you stand with her, but she is also the quintessential 'cute' toddler. She loves playing outside, working puzzles, snuggling and reading books, and playing with her baby dolls. Our oldest daughter -by a whopping 4 months!- is loving, curious, empathetic, and can sometimes even best be described as our family busybody! She is shy around new people and environments, but once you win her approval, she'll be your best friend! She's very verbal, smart, and can remember just about anything! She's an outside girl, too, and loves going to the park, little gym, and school. While little guy catches some Z's, you can dive into the exciting world of laundry and sprinkle a bit of magic to tidy up after breakfast. Once our little one wakes up, it's playtime, followed by a delightful lunch, more playtime fun, and then a cozy afternoon nap. We are slowly transitioning to one daily nap. Our family thrives on a daily routine-nothing too strict, just a comforting structure to make each day special. Join us in creating a warm and welcoming environment for our little ones! During this second nap time, there will be additional household tasks and the welcome-home fun of the girls returning from school. They are always ready for an afternoon snack and some more playtime either at school or on a special outing. On days when the girls don't have school, you will trade off with Mom to either get the girls to their activities or be in charge of our little guy. The days will mostly revolve around the kids and their school, the activity of the day, and nap schedules with basic light housekeeping tasks fit in between running kids to classes and baby nap times. We hope that you model empathy, patience, and discipline to our trio. Throw in some creativity, a heavy dose of reliability, and a shot of compassion, and we'll be forever grateful! We've got a 14-year-old dog who is beginning to show his age, but who still very much wants to be part of the action within the family. Caring for him is also a daily task. We'll ask you to provide your own vehicle -one that can accommodate two car seats- for transporting the girls to activities and outings- mileage reimbursement will be provided! The kids will love the additional attention and a new and happy friend to play with and Mom and Dad will be thrilled beyond measure for the help with kid care, dishes, and beyond.
