Golden Valley - S12511 Location: Golden Valley, MN Schedule: PT: Mon, Wed, Thurs, and Fri 7 a.m. - 4:45 p.m. Start: July, 2024 Children: 2 children ages 3 and 5 Salary: Golden Valley We are looking for an energetic nanny to help take care of our wonderful two children. We are looking for summer help more full time and then to assist with pick up and drop off during the school year. We are also needing this person to help with some reading/writing teaching with our 5-year-old after school. From July 29th until Aug 5th- both kids will be at a AM summer camp. After Aug 5th both kids would be home full time until the start of the school year. During the school year both kids would be dropped off and picked up at school by the caretaker. Before pickup in the afternoon, ideally dinner prep/cooking could be completed. We are also looking for someone who would be able to take care of them when they are too sick to attend school but well enough that they don't need parental monitoring. End of July- Aug 5th: arrive at 7 a.m. Helps get the kids ready and drive them to summer camp by 8:30. Come home. Clean up after breakfast etc. and cook dinner for the family, light household chores such as sweeping, cleaning up toys, doing laundry. Pick up the kids at 11:45. Have lunch with the kids after which they have at least a half hour of quiet rest time ( they usually don't nap) and then do an afternoon activity with the kids before parents are home by 4:45. After 8/5 and until school starts the nanny would be with them full time Monday, Wednesday-Friday from 7-4:45. Once school starts we are looking on for part time working Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Arriving at 7 a.m. and dropping off the kids are school between 8-8:30. Then would work again starting at around 2 at which point you would come to the house and cook dinner for that evening and then go pick up with kids from school by 3 p.m. After pick up, help Henry with homeschooling reading and writing lessons which are about 20min per day ( home school curriculum would be provided). Then free play/home activity with kids until parents are home by 4:45 We are looking for someone who is willing to take care of the kids when they have minor illnesses that prevent them from attending their outdoor based schools. Both children have asthma so you would need to assist them with taking inhalers/nebulizers. We would teach anyone how to do this.
