How much to pay a nanny?

Well, I private nanny, I'm not quite sure. But currently I pay $120 for 4 days a week and 8 hours a day.
My mother cares for seniors and works through home health company so she gets payed around $16 an hour but she is certified and has been doing her job for more than 10 years. For a home nanny I probably wouldn't pay more than $5 and that's pushing it, but I can't find a good-enough reason that would require me paying more for a few hours of care at my home (where I provide everything) when at day care they provide meals, beds for nap time, toys, and obviously, care. Most "Nannies" here are over-payed
