My step daughter has already been held back one year and is currently switching schools. I would like her to get help over the summer and during the school year. She struggles with reading, writing, and comprehension which is also why she does poorly in other subjects as well. During the summer we hope she can prepare for the school year and we would also like her to get help with homework during the school year as well. She has some learning disabilities and needs help focusing.

Looking for a caring and experienced 1st Grade Tutor to provide academic support to our child in reading, writing, math, and science. The ideal candidate should have experience in teaching young children and a basic understanding of how 1st graders learn. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must-have. family needs a part-time tutor for Special Education, Art, Computers, Business, English, Musical Instruments, Math, Foreign Language, Music & Drama, Science. All of these aren't necessarily necessary, just some other subjects we are interested in. At the very core, the basics are musts- reading, math, spelling, science etc. We're considering homeschooling our son next year, although as a mom with adhd, this is extremely overwhelming. It is still something we really value and thought we'd look for someone and can help encourage a love for learning, discovery and life.
