I find that I get on with children of all ages and have got a relaxed and friendly approach. I am willing to do homework with them or reading, play board games or do outdoor pursuits. I also have some experience of working with special needs, and many transferable skills from a long career in Mental Health nursing.
I have worked with children with challenging behaviour at an orphanage in Romania, where i have been 5 times to help out at a Summer School
Recently I have had some experience of working with a 5 year old boy with Autism, I found this to be fun but quite challenging
