Looking for an experienced carer to cover sickness/annual leave and travelling away.

by Andrew • City of Nottingham
Hello, I am looking for an experienced carer to support me within my own home for independent living. This is a casual role to cover staff absences, annual leave and potentially 24 hour care when I am unwell and/or need to go into hospital. Experience in care is essential as I am also looking for support when travelling away from home therefore I require someone who can be away from home at times. - Please note that all travel costs are covered and you will receive allocated time off shifts when away. The role consists of - General domestic support I.e. Cooking, Cleaning and Ironing. Occasional personal care. Basic admin tasks including computer work, making telephone calls on my behalf, writing emails and handling paperwork. A driving license is also preferred as there may be some driving included however this is not essential as I do drive myself. I currently have staff and a self-employed carer providing care and support for me so I am either looking for someone to join my staff at £8.75ph or a self-employed carer and we can negotiate the rate of pay. I do also prefer to explain more about my condition in person as my symptoms are not always similar to everyone else’s and find that explaining it proves to be more effective. You will need to provide - References DBS Carers Liability Insurance (self-employed) Any NVQ Certificates Please don’t hesitate to ask me any questions and get in touch if you think this could be the right job for you.
