They love to go out and about in the community and have fun doing a variety of activities: sensory rooms, swimming, farms, zoos, theme parks, playgrounds, cinemas, etc. Hours can be negotiated, mainly weekends with opportunities for more hours during school holidays. Carer is required to assist my son with his care . Must be first aid trained as he has nut and sesame seed allergy. Care is required between 530 pm and 8 pm every Wednesday and alternate weekends Friday 5 pm - 8 pm to help with evening meal and preparing for bed . Saturday is from 8 am until 6 pm repeated Sunday . Care involves integration into everyday life . Physio session Saturday ####-#### in sneinton , must be able to transport there and back . Mileage costs covered if using own vehicle ( rate 45 pence per mile.) Return to family home and care while father takes siblings to Saturday dance classes until 5 pm .Creative play and engagement to keep my son busy and happy is a must . Assistance in meal times and preparation for bed including washing and dressing assistance needed. Sunday is a repeat of this schedule , but involves assistance in trips out and play activities . Rewards are a favourable wage and friendship within a family of awesome kids and likely friendship and affection from an outstanding little man who wants to be like any other boy . The shift times are... Mornings: 8:00am – 1:00pm (5 hours) Afternoons: 1:00pm – 9:00pm (8 hours) Waking Nights: 8:00pm-11:00am (15 hours) Part-time and Full-time positions are available. The rates of pay range from £8.50 - £10.00 per hour. The hourly rate will be doubled for bank holidays and six weeks annual leave is provided as a standard, as well as a contributory workplace pension scheme. Successful candidates will be required to assist me with personal care, bowel care, exercises, preparing meals and feeding, domestic duties as well as taking me out and about as required.
