I have 20 years care experience, I was a senior carer for Anchor housing at the age of 19 , I moved to Nottingham from Leeds and went to work on a dementia ward for the NHS , I then moved on to an elderly mental health secure unit where I stayed for around 14 years . Unfortunately our ward was closed and moved to Mansfield so I decided it was time to leave and try something else . Before care I qualified as a hairdresser so decided to train in beauty which I did and have been doing for the past 4 years . I also do several domestic cleaning jobs and would like to take a few more hours on . I miss care and would love to incorporate it with cleaning to offer a whole package . I’ve just updated my DBS my training is also up to date . My clients find me trust worthy and friendly I’m just an every day working mum who gives it 100% . My children are getting older now so I’m ready to do more hours . Thank you for reading my personal statement .
