Our youngest daughter is challenged with autism, ADHD, and a possible mood disorder and requires extra understanding and support. Our family also includes a friendly cocker spaniel, so comfort with pets is essential. Responsibilities: As our after-school nanny, your primary responsibilities will include: 1. Assisting the girls with their homework and providing educational support. 2. Preparing and serving healthy and delicious meals for the girls. 3. Managing household laundry, including the girls' clothes. 4. Ensuring the girls' bags are packed for the next day. 5. Providing emotional support and care for our youngest daughter, including managing potential meltdowns and navigating her unique challenges with patience and understanding. 6. Maintaining a calm and supportive environment for all three girls, especially during moments of emotional intensity, including managing occasional rude language, provocative remarks, and tantrums with composure and empathy. The client lives in Wood Green, North London N22. Experience is essential and a Level 2 certificate in Social Care is desirable. My wife has epilepsy and is recovering from brain surgery. She is independent and can care for herself, but needs someone to encourage her and to accompany her when out and about. In addition to helping my wife the role sometimes includes looking after our 6 year old son as well as some light housework such as cooking, dishes and laundry.
