I am looking for a part time carer one or two weekend days a month, for about 3-6 hours per day. My son has cerebral palsy and Epilepsy so it would be good to have some experiences with these conditions but this is not essential. He is verbal and has great communication skills, with good understanding. He has limited movement so helping him mobilise is part of the role. He has walking aids and a wheelchair. Some personal care and just general play and looking after him is needed whilst we can spend some quality time with our other children. He is able to feed himself but would need some light meals prepared sometimes. Experience in a caring role is essential, kind, friendly and has to like children.

I can employ for up to 30 hours / week support for my daughter. Sadly our current Carer is moving to Scotland next week. I can be very flexible on times and days for the right person. I will need special needs experience and an understanding of autism. Some care will be to support us on trips out, otherwise primarily respite support for me at our home in Waltham Cross. We live next to Theobalds Grove station. No transportation required. My daughter is toilet trained and can talk but has immense learning difficulties and cannot yet read or write. Support required to care for her and creative and educational play. She can present challenging behaviour (spitting, pushing, pulling hair) when anxious so someone who is strong and able to cope with that. Izzi is out of school currently with no plan to return in the next school year either. I will also consider 2 Carers doing fewer hours.

I am a disabled single Mum with 2?children aged 9 & 13. I need assistance with getting 9 year old daughter ready for school, help dress, do hair and oversee breakfast. Prepare lunch for me every day and ensure I take my medication. Hovering, cleaning, washing up, tidying up, sorting clothes washing, shopping, general household jobs over the week. In the afternoon prep tea for the 3 of us. In school holidays accompany me on day trips out with the children. i.e: picnics, cinema, bowling etc. A local person would be very helpful or a driver. All I ask is they would like children and animals and possibly over time although being paid would feel part of the family.
