Hi This is Terri the group administrator. Thank you for joining the group. I hope we will someday be large enough to help each other personally until then I thought I would share with you something I have been doing the past 2 years with my now 5 year old grandson.
I buy used childrens learning software at the Goodwill, resale or consignment store when I see it for him. It has tought him how to use a PC and laptop really well. I have gotten some dud's but more often than not I have found useful software that he loves Here are some of the brands and series that have worked well that I have found for between $1-5.
www.jumpstart.com the jumpstart series pretty good easy to use lots of different cd's
www.disneyinteractive.com/learning winnie the pooh based series easy to use he loves it
www.encoreusa.com the learning company reader rabbit adventure workshop ok little harder to use
Land before time math adventure sound source interactive we are just starting this one he likes reading more please post you experiences with software and toys for the group. Have a great day!
