Delaney Tot Spot is an in-home childcare program serving children ages 1-5 years old. I currently have a certificate as an assistant early childhood teacher. I am working to attain a degree in early childhood education.I have been in the field for a about three years now. I have been working along side my mother, who has owned an in-home daycare for 3+ years as well. My mother will now be my substitute when I have class. My experience includes working with infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. However, our program currently accepts 2-5 year old children. Delaney Tot Spot provides children with fun but educational activities. This program is play-based, which means that we will teach children through play. The children are not just left to play alone all day. We will educate them while they are engaged in play. We will set up open-ended activities/experiences each day. Each activity will be geared towards your child's individual needs and interests. Delaney Tot Spot will provide nutritious meals and snacks for all children. The children will have plenty of outdoor play time in our backyard play set. We will incorporate fun and educational field trips as well!
