I had my son in Creative Kids OC Family Day Care for two years and could not recommend it more highly. Terri is an absolutely amazing caregiver who treats every child like they're one of her own. My son loved going and loved her; I did too. This is a wonderful place where kids can feel safe and comfortable while learning and exploring. Five stars!

I wish there was an option for 6 stars, my daughter loves going to Creative Kids which is such a relief for me as a father. My wife is a stay at home Mom and in the 3rd trimester of a challenging pregnancy. When she was put on bed rest, we needed help with our 16 month old daughter so I can go to work. This is how we found Creative Kids and after a couple of nervous first days, I can honestly say that my daughter absolutely loves going there and my wife is able to relax while I go to work. I couldn't feel more confident in our choice for our daughters daycare. The kids are always doing educational and fun activities and my daughter is progressing at warp speed ever since she has been with Terri. When I pick her up after work, I walk up to the house hearing the kids running around and squealing with delight in the secure yard outside and having fun. The environment is safe, clean, nuturing, fun and educational. I am not one to write reviews but my family has had such a positive experience that I felt compelled to log in and share my experience. Thank you Creative Kids for helping my growing family in our time of need, when my son is old enough, he will be there as well.

I honestly don't even know where to begin.. I brought my daughter, Maia, to Miss Terri a little over 3 years ago when she was about 10/11 months and I can honestly say as a mother, that while I constantly question and over analyze every decision I make in regards to my child, this is one decision I have never questioned. Like Stephanie, my daughter came with anxieties and special needs due to a traumatic babysitter she had had previously. However, the security Maia found with Terri's consistent (not overly structured) and progressive teaching style has helped her not only overcome any anxiety she had as a baby, but it has helped her reach the top percentile in social skills at the pre-kindercare she attends 3 days a week. Shes suppose to switch full time into kindergarten next year, but I don't even know how I'm going to be able to part with Miss Terri. These last two years my daughter has had to go through a lot of really hard changes in her personal life, but Terri's loving and continuous support for my daughter has been without a doubt the greatest comfort to me, as a mother, through it all. Terri constantly sends photos of the kids throughout the day with highlights and, yes, lowlights too, but never in hurtful or demeaning way. Of course it's embarrassing or sad when our children have a rough day ( or like Maia- a rough nap time EVERY day), but I prefer knowing everything - the good, the bad, and the ugly- so that I know my child's strengths AND weaknesses. Terri has always gone above and beyond to help work with me on ways to help my daughter overcome her weaknesses and I know she's the same way with the others. Every child is unique and not every child will connect the same way with the same people, so obviously, I recommend meeting Miss Terri and seeing how your child fits in with the environment she has to offer, but as far as Miss Terri goes- anyone that says she isn't loving or caring enough is clueless. This woman makes 3 course, organic meals everyday for all of her children, this woman has spent her own hard earned money on - not just toys- but top notch toys that she has let the kids hand select from catalogs, and this woman has literally put herself on the line numerous times to protect my own daughter as I know she'd do yours. These first few years are so precious and fast-fleeting, and I feel so blessed to have had Miss Terri throughout the majority of them to share in all of our tears, triumphs, and milestones. We love you Terri!

So this was my first experience with any type of daycare. This is my first child who has been with me all day and I haven't had help from anyone but my husband. I decided to try Terri out and I love it. My daughter LOVES going here, she tries to jump out of my arms before I get to the door. I feel like since she started she is progressing and learning so quickly. Terri does little crafts with them, is constantly buying new toys and dress up play stuff. Wish my daughter loves. When I go to pick her up she doesn't wanna leave. This makes me extremely happy considering how hard it was for me to leave her with someone else. I love the fact that Terri feeds them super healthy, mostly organic food. I definitely feel confident having my daughter there and I know she's enjoying herself, especially when Terri sends me little videos. All the kids seem to love Terri and have a close relationship with her. I highly recommend bringing ur children here.

When I first talked with the owner on the phone, she seemed very genuine and experienced. I brought my daughter over to meet her after hours and she seemed nice but something was off. My daughter has separation anxiety and I informed the owner. She told me the first thing was to make sure she was comfortable at her house. I was happy with that answer, but since the first day I dropped her off, I never felt that my child was "loved". Every time I picked her up from her house, she never gave me hopeful answers and instead made me feel that my child was a burden to her because of her separation anxiety. Since my daughter started there, she has been having nightmares and is waking frequently at night. On the last day she was there, I asked how her day was and the owners demeanor and answers confirmed my feelings that my daughter was more of a burden to her. I understand you can "cherry Pick" your group when you have an in home daycare but to make a mother feel sick and uneasy every time you drop off your baby in the hands of another person is horrible. My daughter started at another place today and she is doing fine. I would not recommend this place at all as this lady is too structured and is not flexible at all with.

I feel so fortunate to have found Terri at Creative Kids. When we visited for the first time to interview for an opening, my daughter (11 months old at the time) immediately ran to the toys and began playing happily and independently. I could tell she felt right at home. Terri keeps a very clean, well-organized home, and provides nutritious meals - always fresh, mostly organic. She is constantly buying more toys and activities for the children - the money she makes goes right back into the daycare. Also, my daughter loves to be held, which some day cares just cannot handle. Terri is always willing to hold her, but also sets good boundaries and teaches my daughter to expand her comfort level. Every time I come to pick her up, she and the other children are always in good spirits - happy and well-behaved. Thank you, Terri, for a wonderful (1st time) day care experience!

As a first time mother, enrolling my child in day care made me understandably nervous. After comparing many centers both in home and larger chain care centers I could not be happier with our decision to attend Creative Kids OC. Aside from the credentials described here and on her website, Terri fosters a home-like environment where the little ones and parents feel welcome. You can tell she cares so much for your children while guiding them in their education and maintaining behavioral expectations. She balances fun with learning, keeps them on a schedule, provides nutritious meals and maintains a healthy and happy environment. We could not have asked for more.
