Special Need Experience
I took care of a 6 year old boy for 3 years who has Austism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). He is high functioning but was non verbal. His speech got a little better over the 3 years but he still has limited speech. I have also taken care of a 6 year old and 1 year old with language delays. The 1 year old has only just started speaking. Before that he would just scream which made it hard to understand what he needed but I got used to his needs.
