My daughter is struggling with 6th grade math. I would like a tutor to use a hands-on way, perhaps has experience with Montessori education. Her math teacher has made things very abstract and is just not helping the students understand the material. I need someone to help her get a more concrete understanding, fill in any gaps, and work at her pace as she has ADHD.

Our son has high functioning autism. He struggles a lot with reading and writing. He seems to have trouble with special sound vowels, and trouble with hand writing (fine motor skills), and coming up with beginning, middle, end and adding details when writing on a specific subject. He feels like reading and writing are really difficult for him.

My child is in 2nd grade. He needs help in reading. He's only reading at a level 4 when he should be much higher than that. He needs help with hand writing. He is also in speech therapy at his school. The school tells me we have to wait till his 3 year review in order to start any other special education services but I feel if I wait to much longer he is going to suffer in his future schooling. I think I need to take the rein's and do something about this asap. He needs help. I need help.
