We are looking for a kind and patient part-time in-person, local tutor for teaching Math and helping with English homework (using curriculum) for the coming school year for our daughter. English homework would be help with writing basic short paragraphs or essays using a curriculum. Math help would include learning elementary Math concepts and skills using a curriculum. Experience with Special Education is strongly preferred. ESL experience would be great, but not necessary. We are looking for tutoring help twice per week for a couple hours, at our home in Coeur d' Alene. Washington family needs a part-time tutor for Spanish and/or Math, and/or English. Tutor would pick child up from school across the street and walk child to home and then provide fun, engaging tutoring as well as go on walks for breaks when needed. This can be doing math problems in Spanish, reading recipes in English to practice step by step learning, or reading books, having conversations, playing games in Spanish. Hours are somewhat flexible but would need pick-up most days at 3. 30 p.m. We have free parking in our back yard and we are close to metro and bus lines.
