Yakima family needs a part-time tutor for History, English, Math, Foreign Language, Science. Could be for just 2 students but Looking to start a micro school for grades 2-4th grade. Ideally completely in Spanish. Maximum of 12 students in classroom which would be at our home. You would be a tutor teaching a homeschool curriculum.

Our daughter is a childhood cancer survivor and a child with moderate autism. She has encountered numerous hospitalizations over her youth, and as a result of her autism diagnosis, she also has an intellectual disability with a learning age of 9 years, whereas she is physically 14 years old. I have been homeschooling her for two years, and I am searching for some assistance as she is becoming less interested in strictly homeschooling from yours truly. I will also try to locate playgroups and extracurricular activities for her to participate in next fall. Prior to homeschooling, our daughter attended an area Lutheran grade school and was able to complete the 4th grade with the help of an IEP. Although she concluded this grade level, she only attended school three hours per day as her anxiety was far too great. Thank you for your help!

My child has an IEP, with high- functioning autism, emotional disability and ADHD as his primary diagnoses for accommodations. I am looking to pull him out of public school indefinitely and will need someone with knowledge of the state's curriculum standards to help support our homeschooling journey. Someone who will be able to guide, as well as support, this journey would be ideal. I suspect it will be a bit more involved than standard tutoring, as my child comes with a certain set of challenges that require more patience, time, and care. A background in special education will be required. I am looking to have someone meet at the library (or come to my house if the libraries are shut down) three days a week, for three hours a day. I do have two giant breed dogs so bear that in mind when deciding.

Hello, I have a 6-year-old son and a 4-year-old daughter. For my first grader, I would love for him to build confidence and enjoy school. I think it would be very helpful if he could review the assignments he receives from school with you, while also learning math concepts in a fun way. He also enjoys physical activity. Since school instruction outside only lasts about 30 minutes, I feel it's too short, which is why I'm reaching out to find a personal teacher. I would also like to spark his interest in reading books. Because I work and often have to catch up on household tasks when I get home, my children end up spending too much time on the iPad, which really concerns me. In addition, since English is not my first language, I would love for someone to read to him with proper pronunciation and help him improve his reading confidence.
