Rochester family needs a part-time tutor for Math. Twice a week, an hour per session. Days and times are totally flexible, especially starting in July when school is out. Daughter needs help catching up with 2nd grade math concepts to be ready for 3rd grade, would prefer a current or former educator. Can be done in home or at local library if preferred. His reading has come a long way this school year and we want to make sure we keep up the momentum this summer. In addition to reading, we would also like support with writing and spelling. Brewster family needs a part-time tutor for Math. 12-year-old boy, some adhd and anxiety. Wants a kind and patient teacher, current sep/special ed teacher (for anxiety and adhd) is pretty judgy and cranky, he just doesn't match well with her. Has gotten along with almost every other teacher except this one. Is starting to become depressed and sad about going to school because of math and because of the teacher. He'd benefit from someone who can provide structure but be kind. Current teacher writes kind of snarky comments on his math papers and he's starting to avoid extra help sessions because he feels like a failure. We need help!
