We're looking for a tutor who specializes in early literacy using a structured, phonics-based approach. Our daughter is in second grade and has gaps in decoding, letter-sound fluency, blending, and oral reading fluency. She scored in the "well below goal" range on DIBELS for oral reading fluency (21 wpm, 78% accuracy) and is around the 20th-30th percentile on MAP. We need someone who can provide explicit phonics instruction, blending practice, decodable texts, and fluency work. Hello, We're looking for a warm, fun and engaging substitute teacher or tutor to fill in for our children's current teacher, who will be on break from November 24th through January 3rd. We would like someone to come in Mon- Friday from 9am-2pm, but we are flexible. We have a fully equipped classroom in our home with all the materials and resources needed to support our kids' learning. Their regular teacher is happy to assist with lesson plans and provide guidance as needed, so this position primarily involves continuing the children's existing curriculum and maintaining consistency during her time away. I am looking for someone to come out to my house or private piano lessons for my two kids. I have a9-year-old daughter, and a 10-year-old son. My 10-year-old has very little music experience, but did take about six months of piano lessons a year ago, and currently plays the trumpet. My daughter is a total beginner. I would like to find a teacher for one hour, spending 30 minutes individually with each. Ideally, the lesson would start at 5 PM, but we are fairly flexible on Wednesdays.
