I have an 11-year-old and 15-year-old, both boys. My husband works out of town during the week, and I work 4 days a week (Tues-Friday) until 5 or 6 p.m. My youngest has ADHD, but is not very hyperactive. However, he misses instructions frequently at school. He is in the gifted program at his middle school, and as a 6th grader, everything is very different to what he is used to. I really need someone to sit down and go through Canvas with him in the afternoons to determine what homework he has and make sure he is getting it done. My oldest goes to Maggie Walker, and he needs reminders to do his homework and practice his instruments, but is otherwise independent. Other responsibilities may be negotiated if/when they arise, but are not required.
