We are seeking a regular Spanish teacher or tutor for our 4. 5-year-old daughter. Both parents speak Spanish (mother is native, father is intermediate), but we've had difficulty getting it to stick with our daughter, who attends an English-speaking daycare. She knows several words, but does not yet speak in sentences. An ideal candidate would be able to pick up our daughter from daycare/school and spend 2-3 hours with her, which could be at our house or another location conducive to her learning. We have two large (and very friendly) dogs, so you must be comfortable with pets. We have never hired a tutor, so we are open to suggestions on approach, materials, and activities to make this successful.
