We are looking for a tutor for 1 child in Bentonville. Ideal candidate has some teaching experience and can help with Junior High Math/Science/Reading. Any knowledge of phonemic reading skills is a bonus as the student is dyslexic. We would prefer someone who could help out with light housekeeping, dinner prep along with the homework help. We would prefer a person who has their own car, who is comfortable with pets and who has college degree.

We are looking for someone patient and loving who can work with me to tailor lessons for my 14-year-old son and can help him stay on task with his homeschooling lessons (they take him about 2 hours). Also to creatively integrate learning opportunities into activities of daily living, including engaging in fun, active play (both in our home and away from our home). We'd love to work with someone who's kind, patient and enjoys physical time outdoors. Our son is challenged by some sensory integration issues, Dyslexia, Autism, and ADHD, so knowing how to be sensitive to the neurodivergent needs of learners is very important to us. Experience working with children on the Autism Spectrum is a plus! Driving to lessons will be required too.

I am looking to get my son a tutor to prepare him for the upcoming school year. He is going to the 4th grade but I'm looking to revisit 3rd knowledge to refresh himself. He is on the spectrum but in general aid classes. We would do Monday and Wednesday for 2/3 hours a day, Math and Reading. We live in Rosharon. His weakest area is ESL of course (the comprehension). I would focus more on that with an hour or so on Math.
