Hello! We are looking for an IN PERSON tutor or homeschool teacher for our 12 yo son ( rising 7th grade) who has high functioning Autism and PDA ( Pathological Demand Avoidance, a profile of the autism spectrum). He needs someone who is patient, flexible and trustworthy and is willing to allow him to work at his own pace. We would love someone who has experience with special education, but the qualities above are the most important piece because he MUST trust and respect anyone that he is working with or learning from. Subjects we would prefer to focus on are English, Math and Science but also want to allow flexibility for him to pursue his own interests, which are technology and STEM related. Our 15-year-old Freshman need help staying focused on homework and occasional help with math. Algebra 1 S, is a 15 Freshman and is having a hard time focusing on homework and grasping the concepts in Algebra. Example and shadowing. In person. Parking in driveway or in the street.

Looking for a reading tutor for 5. 5-year-old.

Looking for female Tutor with experience writing papers, strong organizational skills and decent math skills. Must have willingness to teach "how to study". Would prefer experience with mild learning disabilities/adhd OR patience and willingness to support. Our student is a first year community college student with mild learning disability. She needs help with learning "how to study", staying on top of assignments, and support on writing papers. Will eventually need help with Math classes.. She needs explicit instruction and practice. Requires multiple revisions. Needs reminder to read the assignment and focus on what is being asked to get complete.

We're looking for someone who has the ability to teach science in a middle school and high school level and social studies at a middle school and high school level. We use an online program to create the lessons and tests etc. to help the teacher and the student be guided an organized. Our teacher currently, who has been with us for a very long time, supplements with things that they find interesting or helpful. We really need someone who is down to earth, Able to communicate well, be a leader and a mentor, and he was very positive and trustworthy The student is behind in learning but catching up. Very motivated student that needs a positive teacher to keep the pace going The student learns best in our classroom setting. We use breaks after certain blocks of learning. The tutor must be kind and patient, willing to explore diverse ways of teaching. Construct lesson plans if needed. Must possess at least a bachelors in an education related field. Preferably a master's degree. Must have experience in teaching. Kindergarten aged homeschooler needs help with reading, writing, and spelling. Would like assistance in math as well. Tutoring will happen in-person and potentially online at times.

My 16-year-old freshman daughter needs tutoring support with writing papers, doing homework and finals. I also need someone to drive her to a special tutoring session on Mondays in Rancho Cordova, wait for her, and pick her up and drive her back home. She is sweet, and kind. School can be hard for her. She needs support in homework. She will be taking an online spanish course over the summer so some hours over the summer too.

Looking for a math tutor for my 8 and 10-year-old children. Ideally you would come out home for the session or meet a library. I'd like someone that can do a diagnostic of sort and provide progress. This will be long term and one day per week per child. Excellent math skills, lots of patience and resources to use.
