My son has type 2 autism and also has ADHD, both are controlled with medication, but my greatest wish is for him to learn to read and learn to spell in English, since he finds it difficult when he is in class, everyone makes fun of him for not knowing how to do it

We are looking for an after-school tutor for our son for 1-2 hours per day, 3-4 days per week starting in September 2025. He is 9 years old and will be entering 4th Grade. Tutoring would include help with 4th-grade level math, reading, and potentially writing homework. Our son has been diagnosed with a number of learning disabilities, so experience with working with neurodivergent kids is strongly preferred. We live in the Queen Anne neighborhood of Seattle and would prefer a tutor who is willing and able to visit our home.
