Experienced in-person Homeschool Teacher Needed! In our home we have a built in classroom full of supplies. we live in fairfax , VA. Near GMU. Our daughter homeschooled for kindergarten last year. She did great with her first teacher, she loved her. and she really enjoys school. She has excelled in all subjects . Especially reading. Math is not her favorite, but she's not bad at it :)She homeschooled 3 1/2 hours 3 days, During the week, for her kindergarten year. We would like for someone to teach her the 1st grade curriculum A Beka or Math With Confidence, etc.. We are very flexible about when she starts and ends and what days. We're seeking a warm, creative preschool educator to lead a gentle, play-based homeschool session for one child (age 3) every Friday, 10:00am-12:00 p.m. You'll design simple, developmentally appropriate activities (literacy, numbers, art, movement) and keep a calm, screen-free environment. We're looking for someone who has experience with children with ADHD and in teaching elementary school math, science, and possibly some Spanish. Ideally would like someone with a college education in Education, Special Education, Early Childhood and a background in the above noted subjects. The student is a creative and sweet 6yo girl 2nd grader who has ADHD and needs homework support and support with math. She needs time and reinforcement of math skills.
