We're looking for some part-time individualized attention for our first grade daughter. She has been struggling with school avoidance and while we work with the school to come up with a supportive plan, we'd like to bridge the gap and have someone other than my husband and I spend time with her doing school work. She is slightly behind first grade benchmarks and she has expressed embarrassment about this so we also want to help her build confidence about her abilities. We are flexible about timing though ideally at this point it would be during the school day since we have been unable to get her to attend.
